NEWS - Vedder, Flea and Jack Irons

Eddie Vedder will attend at the anual "Bridge School Benefit" together with Flea (Red Hot Chili Peppers) and ex-bandmate drummer Jack Irons also used to be in the Red Hot Chili Peppers. This will be an acoustic gig and is not the first time the three performed as a band. This year they performed at the Hullabaloo. See the video underneath this article.

NEWS - Eddie Vedder "Into The Wild" update

From September 10 to 14, Italian Radio1 will exclusively world premiere 'Music from the motion picture Into the wild' by Ed Vedder during the program Village streaming radio will be on the following link

Snippets from the coming album are available here available for streaming. More songs should will be added every monday for new music.

Spoilers are ahead, these are the facts...

- Total album length is 33 minutes

- Mostly acoustic ballads

- Recorded and mixed at Studio X, Seattle, WA by Adam Kasper

- 'Hard sun', is a cover originally written by Indio, recorded by Vedder with Corin Tucker of Sleater -Kinney;

- The artwork was designed by Brad Klausen & Eddie Vedder and Vedder himself created the album's concept, under the alias 'Jerome Turner', - A back cover silhouette photo of Eddie Vedder was taken by famous photographer Anton Corbijn

- The record is 'for Jill & Olivia' and is in memory of Chris McCandless.

Yesterday September 1st 2007 Eddie Vedder got invited on stage by Neil Finn and performed "World Where You Live" and also "Something So Strong" together with Crowded House.

COLLECT - Collecting for Newbies and professionals

Let's say you've been to a concert of Pearl Jam, heard a certain song on the radio or in my case saw the video Jeremy on TV. And got struck by the Pearl Jam virus. And you want to collect it all.... Well if you were there from the start you could collect everything over the years if you just got into Pearl Jam you have to catch up 16 years.

Now that's a lot, not even talking about alll the promo's, official bootlegs, posters and so much more.

Start collecting the albums first, that's the easy part. All albums are still available. If you still like the band keep an eye on this site cause I will try to write about how to collect the other stuff.

NEWS - New Pearl Jam DVD "Immagine In Cornice"

Pearl Jam will release Immagine In Cornice "Picture in a Frame", a live concert film chronicling the band's performances and behind-the-scenes footage from the five Italian concerts that took place as part of the band's 2006 European tour. The cities include Bologna, Verona, Milan, Torino and Pistoia, Italy.
